West Town Pop Up Project

The West Town Pop Up Project offers short-term leases to small businesses interested in testing their retail concepts in a physical space. Through this program, business owners can experience a storefront while receiving business support, technical assistance, and marketing benefits.

Applications are currently open for gallery and retail concepts.

building policies
Tenant hours of operation must be between 8am - 8pm. We recognize each business is different, but at a minimum, tenants should be open for at least 20 hours a week, ideally over 4+ days.

We remain committed to sustaining vibrant and accessible artistic communities in Chicago by offering CAR’s online resources on the Chicago Artists Coalition site. Users can post and find calls for artists, job opportunities, and available art studio space. Emerging artists, curators, and businesses can also learn more about CAC residencies and learning opportunities.
