We have a spot available from Aug 1 in our shared studio space in Pilsen. It's about 1500 sqft divided up to five, so you get a plenty of floor/walls/storage space. It is an open plan studio so you won't be your own room (the one room is already given to another artist), but there will be enough space for you to even make some big-scale works (pretty high ceiling, big doors, locking dock etc available). You will be sharing the space with four other artists: two are recent UIC MFA grads, one performance artist who returned from Switzerland, and one textile artist. The location is really great- many bus stops within 50 feet of the studio, and the Cermak (Red) station is just 12 mins walk away. There's a parking area, locking dock, freight elevator, sink in the building. The cost is $240/month + Utilities (roughly about $10-15/month).
