Private Studio within Campfire Printing Press

Located in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood (1 block from Western Pink Line), Campfire Printing Press is a new co-working studio.


This professional print studio adds to Chicago’s incredible array of printmaking resources by maintaining high-caliber equipment capable of producing large-scale prints. Core equipment includes a 40x72” Takach etching press and screens up to 36x48”.


Campfire includes four private studios, one of which is currently available. Private studios include:


  1. Heat, electricity, and wireless 5G internet;
  2. Use of one flat file drawer within shared printshop;
  3. Access to 4’ of wall space for displaying artwork. Artwork may be for sale;
  4. Up to two half day Supported Print Sessions for the purpose of certification;
  5. Option to host one public event in the shared space once per calendar year;
  6. 50% discount on ink; and
  7. 50% off any additional rentals, services, workshops, or other programs (e.g. supported print sessions).

Includes access to common restrooms and a kitchen. Access to and use of the loading dock and freight elevator can be coordinated as needed through Campfire.

Artists are expected to carry their own insurance in amounts not less than One Million Dollars with respect to injury to any one person, injuries suffered in any one accident, and property damage. Artist is responsible for their losses incurred by flood, fire, theft, or any other disaster.
