Housed inside unique, retrofitted spaces, Mana Contemporary offers private and semi-private studios for artists looking to experience the benefits of an artist community within an exceptional setting.

We are looking for contemporary art makers. Although we accept a percentage of alternative businesses, please note: Mana Contemporary Chicago do not offer soundproof studios.

Most of our studios currently do not feature windows; however, they are designed to be bright and well-lit. The 12-foot ceilings create a spacious atmosphere and provide ample wall space for creative use. Additionally, we offer a shared community area and a quiet library corner with a stunning view of downtown Chicago.

Our current pricing ranges between $500 - $1500. One year lease: First month rent + Month and a half deposit

All artists must have general liability insurance. We will share the requirements details after your first studio tour.

We remain committed to sustaining vibrant and accessible artistic communities in Chicago by offering CAR’s online resources on the Chicago Artists Coalition site. Users can post and find calls for artists, job opportunities, and available art studio space. Emerging artists, curators, and businesses can also learn more about CAC residencies and learning opportunities.
