Youth Program Director

Seeking a responsible, reliable, CREATIVE, motivated individual to run our Youth Program on Sundays. Extra experience with crafts/music is a plus! Experience working with children and community values are a must! In this role, you'll develop curriculum and supervise our Youth Group, which meets for one hour on Sundays concurrent to our Sunday service, in-person and on-site in Edgewater. Group size varies from 2-10 children with ages 4-17.

This paid position is an amazing real-life opportunity and experience to add to your resume with only one day per week commitment.

WHEN: Sunday mornings, approx 10:00AM - 1:PM, for a youth group program that runs concurrently to our Sunday service. Includes prep time and a community social hour afterwards.

WHAT: Develop curriculum of meaningful and engaging age-appropriate lessons to develop spiritual growth in safe, secure environment. Teach and manage all aspects of the one-hour program. Establish and maintain positive contact with children, parents, and church community.

WHERE: Located in Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago, easily accessible by train and bus. Free parking available.
