YayMaker Art Teacher/Host

This is an open call to Artists to join Yay Maker Chicago! (formerly Paint Nite Chicago) We are looking for a new Yay Maker Artist in the city of Chicago.

What is Yay Maker? Yay Maker elevates the popular BYOB drinking-and-painting concept by taking it out of fluorescent-lit studios and into charming restaurants and lounges. Basically, a master artist walks 35-50 people step-by-step through a painting while at a local bar.Please look at the Facebook page of our Chicago events to better understand what we do -- and check out www.paintnite.com. These are social events with low key painting instruction. The job includes: set up, checking in guest, teaching the class, and keeping the class entertained! Should be very energetic.

Some basic qualifications:

1. Must be able to do light physical labor- lifting paint jugs and easels.

2. Ideally you'll be willing to work at least 1-3 events a week - nights 5:30 pm- 10:00 pm or so - days/times vary.

3. You must be punctual

4. Must be able to upload photos to Facebook

5. Must have own car

Income expectations are $100 per event for artist (plus potential tips)
