Workshop Teacher - Ceramics

MADE Chicago is hiring ceramic workshop instructors and assistants. We seek ceramic artists with handbuilding and wheelthrowing skills to teach one-time workshops. Candidates should have a robust teaching resume and extensive experience with ceramic topics and techniques. Proficiency with the tools and processes used to help students develop skills in hand-built and wheel-thrown ceramics required.

Teaching opportunities - Friday & Saturday night workshops in wheelthrowing and handbuilding

Requirements

Bachelor's of Fine Arts in a studio discipline or Art Education. At least two years of teaching experience or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and experience. Must be a clear, effective communicator, able to deliver detailed technical information to adults of all skill levels and abilities. Must strive to create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
