Workshop Assistant - Ceramics

MADE Chicago is hiring ceramic workshop instructors and assistants. We seek ceramic artists with handbuilding and wheelthrowing skills to assist one-time workshops. Candidates should have extensive experience with ceramic topics and techniques. Proficiency with the tools and processes used to help students develop skills in hand-built and wheel-thrown ceramics required.

Assisting opportunities

• Friday & Saturday night wheelthrowing and handbuilding Workshops

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's of Fine Arts in a studio discipline or Art Education

• At least two years of experience in ceramics

• Must be a clear, effective communicator, able to deliver detailed technical information to adults of all skill levels and abilities

• Must strive to create a positive and supportive classroom environment
