Technical Director / Scenic Designer
The Theatre of Western Springs, Chicagoland’s leading community theatre, seeks a full-time technical director to lead and supervise all technical and design activities during our busy production and educational year. We operate our own 410-seat main stage as well as a 125-seat studio theatre, along with a busy children's theatre school, the Children’s Theatre of Western Springs. Duties include supervision and working with our 300+ volunteer members and students in all aspects of technical theatre. Strong set design, CAD and painting skills required. Experience required. Strong organization and people skills a must. Benefits include health insurance and paid vacation. To begin July 1, 2019.
