Teaching Artist

Seeking Teaching Artists for our team. We are looking for passionate artists who love creating, teaching, and inspiring through their unique artistic vision.

CAPE is hiring teaching artists for the 2025-26 suburban afterschool programs.

Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education (CAPE) is hiring teaching artists for West Chicago School District 33’s CAPE After School Program.

In this program, artists and teachers will co - design, document, and team-teach an original arts integration curriculum for students ranging from kinder-5th grade.

Suburban teaching artists we are looking for you!

We are looking for creative professionals in a range of disciplines including: dance, theater, culinary, film, visual art, sculpture, music, fiber, creative writing and more.

Compensation: $50 - $55/hour for instruction & planning.

*Paid Professional Development educational sessions included through out school year.

Status: Independent Contractor position with regular late afternoon teaching hours.

Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education (CAPE) is a non-profit organization based in Chicago that integrates arts into education to enhance student engagement and learning.
