Studio Intern

Advertising photography studio in River West is looking for an intern to fill in as a second assistant in our studio on Mondays-Tuesdays OR Wednesdays-Fridays. Our interns keep track of all our equipment (charging cameras, loading and unloading equipment on location, etc.), build and rip sets, run errands for the studio, and generally fill in the gaps where we need them. This position can lead to more responsibility within the studio down the road. Must be enthusiastic, hardworking, able to multi-task, punctual, and physically capable. This job is ideal for anyone who is a recent graduate and looking to get a foot in the door in the advertising world. Compensation is $50/day.

A driver's license is required (or you must be willing to get one) as our interns do all the driving of our studio van. Our studio does both photo and video work, with an in-house AVID suite. Will need to know the Adobe Creative Suite.

Day-to-day work when there is no shoot will include:
- Cleaning the studio
- Running errands
- Prepping for any upcoming shoots
- Organizing the photo archive
- Doing any odds and ends in the studio

On shoot days:
- Acting as a second assistant
- Managing all photo equipment
- Acting as a production assistant
- Filling in where needed on set
