Overview
Red Theater Chicago seeks candidates for the stipend position of Stage Manager for their production of 45 PLAYS FOR 45 PRESIDENTS, to be performed at The Edge Theater Off Broadway.
45 PLAYS FOR 45 PRESIDENTS is a product of the Neo-Futurist imagination, comprised of a short play for every US president. Varying from a full musical number, to a play without words, to a vaudeville comedy, these plays span the emotional spectrum. Our goal is to question our history and motivate our community to engage with their government, this and every election year.This Stage Manager should be technically sound and excited by the process of moving quickly and efficiently through a jam-packed script. Familiarity with the Neo-Futurists is encouraged, but not necessary.
