Social Media Intern
StretchMetal and the Atmospheric Music Alliance (AMA) seek a Social Media Intern to support content creation across Instagram and YouTube. This role is focused on short-form video editing, graphic design, and consistent posting that aligns with the established brand identity and culture of StretchMetal/AMA's ambient music communities.
Responsibilities
- Create videos for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels
- Design flyers and graphics for upcoming shows using Photoshop and Canva
- Write Instagram captions, upload, and curate photos from programs for Instagram,
- Create short-form content introducing AMA, ambient music, and programs
- Post approximately 3–5 times per week
- Follow brand identity and visual guidelines to create consistency across platforms
Desired Skills
- Interest in ambient music and understanding of its culture and community spaces
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with short-form video editing
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Canva
- Strong written communication skills
- Familiarity with Instagram and YouTube Shorts
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. Academic credit may be available for eligible students, subject to school approval.
