Production Intern | Chicago Sinfonietta
Chicago Sinfonietta is currently accepting applications for a Production Intern for Fall 2019. The intern will work closely with the Sinfonietta’s Production Manager/Librarian to produce concerts at Symphony Center and Wentz Concert Hall. Sample duties include:
1. Assisting in preparations for concert productions, including organizing equipment for rehearsals and performances, and communicating with guest artists.
2. Organizing, cataloging and maintaining archives of recordings and program notes.
3. Assisting with library duty such as copying and distributing music
4. General office duties
Ideal candidates will have a desire to learn about concert production and an interest in the performing arts.
Days/Hours: Preferred candidates should be available to work approximately 5 hours per week plus all rehearsals and concerts.
Salary: This is an unpaid position.
