Part Time Coach

Position Summary

Girls in the Game and the JTDC have partnered to bring healthy lifestyle programs to teens living in the JTDC. The JTDC intern will take part in the planning and implementation of the program in the facility, in collaboration with our lead coach. The intern will also assist in trying to help identify resources that will be useful to the girls upon released, assist in coordinating the Saturday professional development series and assist in identifying partnership opportunities for the program.

The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about health and wellness, has trauma-informed experience and knowledge, at least two years of experience leading group activities for teenagers, and experience working within the juvenile justice system. Because programming is held inside the JTDC, the candidate must be comfortable working in a secured facility. This position combines direct service work with adolescents with program planning and management.

Work hours are Wednesdays, from 2pm-7pm.
