Nothing short of pure imagination...

For the 2019 Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas conference, the format I am proposing is a 90-minute workshop in which Chicago performing artists dramatize a table reading of Acts I. and II. of "Water Under the Bridge," a new play by Amelie Jocel. The workshop is designed for participants to observe, listen, and note unique processes by which the collective energy of local artistic talent may contribute to the development of a Broadway-bound script as it, like water, flows across and through real and imaginary borders eroding cultural, gender, and class barriers all along the way.
