Metalsmithing & Jewelry Instructors

Lillstreet Art Center is looking for instructors to teach in our Metalsmithing & Jewelry Department. We are specifically looking for:

  • In-house evening and weekend workshops
  • Beginner to Intermediate level project based workshops
  • Jewelry & Functional wares
  • Basic silversmithing projects: rings, cuffs, bangles, earrings, pendants, etc

Potential lead into teaching beginner classes and 5-10 week speciality class offerings, depending on availability (AM & Afternoon availability for classes is a plus)


  • Bachelor’s degree in arts or higher or 5+ years as a working artist
  • At least two years of previous teaching experience, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
  • Positive, professional and motivational
  • Excellent people skills
  • Must be comfortable working with adults of all skill levels and abilities
  • Evening and weekend availability preferred
