In-School Residency
We are looking for a bilingual (Spanish/English) teaching artist to work with the kindergarten and first grade classrooms at Volta Elementary School in Albany Park. The teaching artist will instruct students in Spanish and English in a curriculum developed by 2nd Story to support students' understanding of narrative, cause and effect, and to cultivate empathy. There are two, 12-week sessions of the program - one in the fall beginning October 4, 2019 and one in the spring beginning March 5, 2019. The program is six hours a week at $25/hour.
