Finance Manager

Job Purpose

Oversee all aspects of finance and business administration to ensure efficient and

sound operations. Manage bookkeeping, budgeting, banking, financial analysis and

Human Resources support. Interface with members regarding billing and accounts.

Prepare financial documents for the Board of Directors and oversee financial audits.

Responsibilities

Accounting

● Manage and report on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General

Ledger.

● Administer bi-weekly payroll and remittance of payroll liabilities.

● Calculate and prepare payroll tax and sales tax returns.

● Prepare Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and annual/monthly budget

reports.

● Prepare the month-end close and bank account reconciliation.

● Prepare and issue W-2 and 1099 year-end tax statements.

● Prepare for annual audit and assist with 990 preparation.

● Monitor and analyze cash flow and predict future trends.

● Prepare long and short-term budgetary planning and analysis.

● Analyze various pricing structures to determine profitability.

Administrative/HR

● Coordinate all commercial and fine arts insurance renewals

● Administer employee benefit programs and the performance review process

● Coordinate and maintain enrollment in 403b retirement plan; submit required

filings and contributions

● Prepare all materials for Executive, Finance and Investment, and Audit

committee meetings and act as support for committees as necessary.

● Maintain current employee files and process new hire paperwork.

Membership

● Prepare billing for membership accounts (annual dues and monthly charges).

● Resolve questions regarding billing and member accounts.

● Answer member questions and provide excellent customer service.

● Willing to take on new projects and assignments as needed.

BS Degree in Finance or Accounting and 3-5 years of related work experience.

● Understand and be able to complete Analytical Reports.

● Knowledge of Jonas and Expensify software is desired.

● Competant with Inventory procedures.

● Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.

● Highly proficient in Excel.

● Experience in hospitality or membership club experience preferred.

BS Degree in Finance or Accounting and 3-5 years of related work experience

CPA Preferred

Will consider comparable work experience
