Engagement and Recruitment Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Engagement Coordinator to contribute to our efforts to recruit and enroll new students into our arts programs. The post holder will play a key role in the facilitation of educational community engagement programming, supporting events that shape the academic journeys of our students. This role requires a blend of project management skills, social media expertise, and a passion for the arts.The Coordinator will:• Assist with the execution of outreach, marketing + communication strategies• Manage the SOA digital presence including its social media platforms and newsletters.• Work with Director of Arts Programming and Engagement to build onto our engagement plan with new events, engagement pathways, partnerships and incentive programs.• Maintain a database of outreach email and newsletter lists of local teachers and community partners, including outreach status and follow-up calls and emails.• Represent School of the Arts at community events.• Distribute materials in assigned areas, businesses, churches and other community locations• Maintain logs of areas/locations visited by retaining menus, brochures, and other materials from assigned locationsRecommended Experience/Skills • Proficiency in social media management tools and strategies.• A background in the arts or museums is a plus.• Excellent communication skills with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences.• Proven project management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines and objectives.• Strong administrative skills, including data entry, reporting, and record keeping.
