Stomp And Shout Chicago
In 2012, Cassie Slater created the popular Music & Creative Play Program, Stomp and Shout Chicago. The marriage of her twenty plus years of teaching experience and her equally long professional acting career birthed a program that is more than just a music class.
Stomp and Shout is a program that guides young minds to be curious, to be brave, to ask questions of themselves and the world around them. It does this through inventive, standards based, curriculum that is designed and tested by Cassie and taught by exhilarating and engaging teachers.
The program has grown from one early childhood music class with four students in Logan Square to our curriculum being taught in Shanghai, China, New York City and beyond. We’ve grown to having served thousands of children, dozens of schools, and created a stronghold for inspiration and connection.
Our team believes deeply in the crusade of bringing empathy and art to every young child.
