Director of Production and Education
UChicago Presents seeks a Director of Production and Education, an individual interested in being a vital part of a respected organization dedicated to the presentation of a wide range of musical events, including primarily classical music, but also early music, new music, world music, and jazz. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Production and Education produces concerts, plans and executes education and outreach programs, and serves as the office manager which also includes assisting the director with budget management and tracking finances.
One of Chicago’s oldest and most distinguished concert series, the University of Chicago Presents was founded in 1943 with the goal of bringing to Chicago world-renowned artists for concerts and educational programs that would attract audiences from all parts of Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. Performances take place at Mandel Hall, the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts, International House, and Rockefeller Memorial Chapel on the University campus. UCP hosts 25-30 professional concerts and events each season and is comprised of 4 staff and student employees.
