Conference Event Staff - Hybrid Room monitors
CAA (the College Art Association), seeks event staff for the CAA 114th Annual Conference, February 18–21, 2026, at the Hilton Chicago.
CAA, as the preeminent international leadership organization in the visual arts, promotes these arts and their understanding through advocacy, intellectual engagement, and a commitment to the diversity of practices and practitioners. Based in New York City, CAA is a learned society and a professional association that supports those who study, teach, write about, advocate for, and/or create art and design. The CAA Annual Conference is the largest convening of art historians, artists, designers, curators, and visual art professionals.
We seek friendly, even-tempered individuals who are very comfortable working with people and laptops with Zoom moderation experience. Monitors will work 3-4 shifts at our scholarly conference (shift details listed below). This is an on-location position: Hilton Chicago, 720 S Michigan Ave, Chicago, Illinois, 60605.
Shifts:
Wednesday, February 18: 10:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (production break 11:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.)
Thursday, February 19: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (lunch break 12:30–2:00 p.m.)
Friday, February 20: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (lunch break 12:30–2:00 p.m.)
Saturday, February 21: 8:00 a.m.– 6:00 p.m. (lunch break 12:30–2:00 p.m.)
