Conference Event Interns
CAA (the College Art Association), seeks Interns for the CAA 114th Annual Conference, February 18–21, 2026, at the Hilton Chicago.
CAA (the College Art Association), as the preeminent international leadership organization in the visual arts, promotes these arts and their understanding through advocacy, intellectual engagement, and a commitment to the diversity of practices and practitioners. Based in New York City, CAA is a learned society and a professional association that supports those who study, teach, write about, advocate for, and/or create art and design. The CAA Annual Conference is the largest convening of art historians, artists, designers, curators, and visual art professionals.
Interns will provide a variety of production assistance during our Annual Conference, including but not limited to: providing directions to conference attendees or escorting them to a particular session room, answering questions, checking badges at key points including in our Book and Trade Fair, and myriad other customer service duties. This is an on-location position: Hilton Chicago, 720 S Michigan Ave, Chicago, Illinois, 60605.
Shifts:
Wednesday, February 18: 10:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (production break 11:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.)
Thursday, February 19: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (lunch break 12:30–2:00 p.m.)
Friday, February 20: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (lunch break 12:30–2:00 p.m.)
Saturday, February 21: 8:00 a.m.– 6:00 p.m. (lunch break 12:30–2:00 p.m.)
