Backstage Specialists for Chicago Bridal Week

Dates: August 15–19, 2025

Location: The Merchandise Mart, Chicago, IL

Shift: Varies; typical schedule is 8:30 AM–6:00 PM

Join us behind the scenes at one of the bridal industry’s premier events! We’re looking for detail-oriented, dependable Backstage Specialists to support the successful execution of runway shows and presentations during Chicago Bridal Week.

Position Overview:

As a Backstage Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in garment preparation and model support. From steaming delicate bridal gowns to ensuring seamless outfit changes, your work will directly impact the polish and professionalism of our runway moments.

Key Responsibilities:

Garment Prep: Steam and press bridal gowns and accessories to ensure a flawless, wrinkle-free presentation.

Model Assistance: Support models with dressing and quick changes backstage, keeping shows on schedule.

Display Coordination: Maintain gown displays and presentation areas in pristine condition.

Backstage Maintenance: Keep the backstage environment clean, organized, and efficient throughout the event.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience steaming/pressing formalwear or delicate fabrics
• Previous backstage or runway experience (preferred)
• Keen attention to detail and pride in presentation quality
• Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure settings
• Must be punctual, dependable, and available for all scheduled shifts
