Contract/Consultant
Lux Cantorum Chicago, a non-profit auditioned choir in the Chicago area, is seeking a consultant/contractor to oversee daily operations and concert production management for our winter (December) and spring (May) concert series.
Key responsibilities include concert production planning and execution, contract administration, venue coordination, marketing support, and research on funding and partnership opportunities. Qualification considerations include strong organizational and communication skills; experience in arts administration, nonprofit operations, or event production; proficiency with online tools such as Canva, e-ticket platforms, and standard office software; ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for concert events; and a passion for music, faith-based arts, or cultural programming.
This consultant will report to the Board president and will need to collaborate closely with staff and other Board members. This half-time, ten-month position offers a compensation range of $23,500 to $26,500 based on experience and qualifications. A more detailed job description is available on request.
