Administrative Internship
ABOUT LOCAL LEGEND FILMS: We are a media production company and transforming everyday stories into legends. We focus on video. We are in startup phase. We are a unique, trauma-informed work culture that uses restorative justice and features a hands-on apprenticeship program for at-risk youth.

ABOUT YOU: Our ideal candidate is excited about our mission. You ask great questions, take initiative, and value emotional intelligence. You are organized and have excellent communication skills. You’re excited to learn about how a media company works and support our growth.
Position requires 10 to 12 hours a week. Around a third of this time can be completed remotely, as-and-if-needed. Also required is consistent access to a personal laptop that you could bring to the office.

You have an interest in
-audio and film production.
-podcasts.
-mentorship.
-social justice.
-activism.
-If you have consistent access to high-end headphones.
-If you’ve used Slack, Trello, and Google Docs before.
-If you’ve worked in a professional setting prior to this.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
-Transcribing audio .
-Preparing supporting materials for meetings.
-Proof-editing
-Organizing files
-Managing databases
-Basic film editing in Premiere
START DATE: End of April 2019.
END DATE: In the first two weeks of August 2019. Date negotiable.
PAY: Citypass, transportation fees, lunch stipend.
We would be more than willing do to whatever necessary for this intern to get academic credit for this internship.
