Administrative Director
Responsibilities:
COMMUNITY
- Liaison between Addison Trail High School and Village of Addison
- Represent Addison Center for the Arts at Community Advisory Meetings (PR, Committee meetings, Village Meetings, other Art Community Meetings)
COMMUNICATIONS
- Marketing strategy based upon goals of those determined by the board
- Organize, strategize and post content to ACA website and social media sites
- Creation of newsletter and promotional items for curated shows and events
- Assist writing press releases as needed
- Set up and maintain an email communication system (ei. Mailchimp or Constant Contact)
FUNDRAISING/EVENTS
- Assist committee members facilitate art events as needed
- Seek out and apply for new grants and fundraising sources and assist board members
MEMBERSHIP
- Work with Membership Committee to maintain and increase member base
- Update and maintain membership activity
- Help develop programs and incentives for membership
ADMINSTRATIVE
- Weekly communication with the President of the Board to discuss priorities
- Source artistic talent and schedule gallery exhibitions
- Attend Addison Center for the Arts Board meetings, report progress
- Help facilitate operations of the gallery and Addison Center for the Arts office
- Collaborate with and be aware of docent schedule
- Weekly schedules to the High School
- Report any concerns with security
- Keep financial reports of exhibits and submit to Treasurer
- Submit permits/paper/forms required by the school
HOURS:
- 30 hours (minimum) per month at home or on-site
SALARY:
- Commensurate with experience
- This an Independent Contractor position. As such, this position is not considered an employee of the Addison Center for the Arts and therefore no benefits are provided.
