W/E

Side Street Studio Arts seeks artwork to represent the Asian American community during Asian American and Pacific Islander Month. W/E is a reference to the western/eastern cultural split for which many Asian Americans in the United States hold space. This is an open call for visual art in any medium to discuss, share, and make space for this experience.

This exhibition is open to the public May 2 - May 31, 2025, with a public reception on Friday May 2, from 6-9pm.

Submission Requirements:

Submissions must be received by Wednesday April 16, 2025 at midnight - late submissions will NOT be accepted. Artists will be notified of their acceptance by email.

All artists working in visual mediums will be considered including 2D/3D and video/time-based works. Larger works are also considered, for specific questions regarding size or other special installation requirements please inquire before submitting. Submissions will be limited to 3 artworks per artist.

There is a $10 submission fee required for your submission. SSSA takes no commission on art sales. Side Street Studio Arts Members are exempt from the submission fee. Interested in becoming a Side Street Studio Arts member? More info available here: https://www.sidestreetstudioarts.org/membership
