Unison - Actor Needed
Role description:JOEY (18): a percussionist. He likes killer drum solos, Arizona Iced Tea, and Lebron James. He can’t imagine life without his best friend John. The actor playing this role does not need to have percussion experience. (Range: C3-F4) Audition requirements: 32 bars + monologue (video submission - send to unisonmusical@gmail.com along with a headshot and resume) Stipend provided. Show description: Unison follows a tight-knit high school wind ensemble infected with a bad outbreak of Senioritis. As deadlines loom one after another, seven seniors struggle to balance band with the intense demands of the college application process. Between audition prep, personal essays, roommate pacts, and Ivy League rejections, everyone’s individual problems pull them away from the group, leaving some students lost along the way. In order to lock in their post-grad plans without destroying their friendships, they’ll have to practice hard, but party harder.
