TRIBUTARY II
Verum Ultimum is thrilled to invite artists to explore the theme, "Tributary II" & the flowing notions this one word conjures. Tributaries are essential to life. They symbolize connection, confluence, community, clean water, & more. A tributary is defined as a river or stream that flows into a larger river or lake. It can also refer to a person, nation, or people that pays tribute. A decade ago "Tributary" was part of the early exhibitions at Verum's first location. For the first time (in ten years) Verum visits this theme again! It's more important than ever to pay tribute to the arts and allow the smaller stream of voices flow into the river of consciousness. Verum is an intimate gallery that celebrates art with momentum much greater than its walls. With this call Verum pays tribute to the artist & the creative well that feeds and is fed by the artist.
What is your personal interpretation of theme, “Tributary”? Is it a literal interpretation of a stream or do you see tributary as a metaphor for creative momentum (that can show up in any form of expression)?
Deadline is 2/25/25
