Seeking WRITERS for Chicago Scratch
Chicago Scratch is collective for the new, the risky, and the unpolished. We produce a bi-monthly scratch night, a chance for writers to stage fresh material in a casual and collaborative environment. This evening showcases short plays, poems, screenplays, and more centered around a single theme.
We are seeking WRITERS interested in staging new work around our May theme: HOLIDAY. Whatever that word conjures for you.
We need an idea. For now. Your pitch can be for a short play, a scene from a film, a spoken word poem - anything that can be produced (by your team, with our assistance) in a month. Pitches should be a maximum of 5 sentences.

Submissions are due by WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10th. We will reach out with our decisions to everyone who submitted by FRIDAY, APRIL 12th.
