Seeking Illustrator for Children's Book
Dream Deep is a poetically written children’s book examining the topics of childhood anxiety and mental health. Written by a Chicago native, Dream Deep, follows the nighttime adventures of young, Black girl as she moves through a dreamscape back to safety. We are looking for an illustrator that will work with the author in capturing the essence of childhood and can create beautiful, engaging imagery. We hope to work with a Black or Brown artist, but are interested in any artist that has experience working with and illustrating children of color. This is a stipend based project and we are looking for a collaborator to start as soon as possible. For consideration please send your portfolio and information to bbooker@firebrand-arts.org
