Pride Month Show Call for Art
The Andersonville Galleria is searching for two
lqbtq+ identified artists to display work in our
Loft Gallery space for the month of June.
The Galleria is a year-round art fair where creatives rent booths and display their work. Our loft is a multi-use space featuring rotating gallery shows, pop-ups, and art classes.
We are looking primarily for large scale 2D and 3D works of any medium. Original work or signed and numbered, framed prints only. We do not accept AI-generated work.
Every Pride Month we feature queer artists from the Chicago area. If you qualify and are interested in participating, apply for free and find out more info about The Galleria via our website, under the “Loft Artists” application.
Trans artists to the front! While all lgbtq+ identifying people are encouraged to apply, we are especially prioritizing applications from our Trans and Gender non-confirming community this Pride, and hope to help uplift and support our queer communities most vulnerable members.
Applications end May 4th, and selected artists will be notified via email no later than May 9th.
Selected work must be dropped off at the Galleria at 5247 N Clark Street in the Andersonville neighborhood by May 28th.
The show will run from June 1st to July 1st, with an opening night tbd based on both artists' availability.
There is no fee for use of the space, just a 40/60 split between the shop and artists (60% to the artists) for any work sold.
We look forward to seeing your work!
