Open Call: Nature-themed 2d and 3d Artworks! No Submission fee!
Yardbird Highland Park showroom would like to hold an art show to showcase surrounding Chicago-land artists. Whether you are a beginning or emerging artist, we welcome your interest! Please read below for details. There is no submission fee.
About the event: We are looking for beginner and emerging artists of the greater Chicago-land area to participate in showing their work in our gallery show. Located at 83 Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park IL, the Yardbird Highland Park showroom will be utilizing our space to display and promote local artists. We are an outdoor furniture company, creating high quality sustainable furniture. To get a feel for our brand aesthetic feel free to visit our website.We are looking for visual art of all mediums that incorporate an element of nature.
Artwork Parameters:
- Figurative work can be considered, but no nudity.
- 3d work is suggested to not exceed size of 12" x 12" x 24"
- Artwork can be functional or decorative
- Each applicant is limited to 3 submissions
- Paintings and 2d work must be display ready, mated work is ok, but framed or ready-to-hang- canvas is preferred
- Representational or abstract is welcome! We are looking for interior design fitting pieces (no fan art, no gore, professional-ready work)
Submissions due December 21st at 11:59 pm. No late exceptions
The projected show date will be January 11th, 2025 all accepted artists will be notified of show opening details and work drop off instructions asap following the deadline.
Disclaimer: 100% sales of artworks go to artists; however, they are to be sold privately (the showroom is not responsible for the distribution and sales of artwork).
This show is suited for beginner, student, freshly emerging artists and hobby artists who want to connect with Chicago-land artists and build experience participating in gallery shows. As advice, even if you feel like your work may not fit, submit anyways! We have a large selection of collections in the showroom which can be styled to fit different aesthetics. There is no submission fee, so we encourage you to take the jump and submit!

Title*, medium, artwork dimensions, year created, price, nature relevance
