Open Call for ArtWear Collective Spring 2019 Showcase: GENERAL ARTISTS
The ArtWear Collective aims to showcase people of color/LGBTQ+ artists and designers that focus on interdisciplinary practices. In Spring of 2019, we will be hosting and curating our first showcase/fashion show at The Adler Planetarium. Because of the unique venue, there is an opportunity to feature work that is separate from the runway show. We are looking for artists to submit work that can be installed in other sections of the venue. This work will be seen by guests and participants before and after the show during a cocktail hour and after-event showcase. We will consider any applications with 2D, 3D, or 4D work. Artists chosen to be in the show/work with the collective will be considered for numerous features on social media, on the website, and at event fundraisers.THERE IS NO DEADLINE FOR THIS APPLICATION, although artists that submit earlier will have a better accomidations in installation space.
