Night Out in the Parks 2019
The Chicago Park District invites you to submit your best ideas for the 2019 Night Out in the Parks free public citywide event initiative. In 2013, the Chicago Park District with support from Mayor Rahm Emanuel and the City of Chicago and the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, launched a series of over 750 cultural events and programs in over 230 parks citywide. Over the past six years, Night Out in the Parks expanded to over 2,000 cultural events across Chicago. Projects have varied from traditional performances and concerts to community workshops, nature-based programs, interactive dance, festivals, and more. The Park District believes in providing cultural experiences and opportunities in every community area across the City. And so, in 2019 we have the ambitious goal of once again producing over 2,000 cultural events in Chicago parks… with your help! While the bulk of programming will continue to happen during the warmer months, we do encourage you to still apply if you have proposals that trickle into Fall and Winter, as Night Out in the Parks has expanded year-round.Please visit the Night Out in the Parks website and click on the link under 2019 Night Out in the Parks Call For Proposals to submit your proposal by December 13, 2018. http://www.chicagoparkdistrict.com/events/night-out-in-the-parks/
