MUSIC COORDINATOR POSITION - SIDE STREET STUDIO ARTS

The Music Coordinator is responsible for booking concerts as well as musical acts for select events with a focus on elevating new and emerging artists across all genres, styles, and cultures.

Evaluate and grow our current SSSA offerings while developing a plan for new and innovative live music to accompany our future calendar of events and exhibitions. Communicate all necessary information in regards to musical events in a timely manner. This includes and is not limited to marketing/promotions, technical requirements, space needs, and scheduling. It is expected that the Music Coordinator will be able to fill any roles required during a live music event, including the ability to operate the technical portion of the performances. Music coordinator is responsible for managing the capturing and protection of photography and video of each event and/or performance within their schedule of events. Music coordinator will have full access to the SSSA Google Drive for storage and research for future promotional materials.

The Music Coordinator must attend all requisite meetings, and communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with the Director of Special Projects. The Music Coordinator will understand the importance of creating a safe and equitable environment for all artists and audiences alike.Must have a working knowledge of G Suite and Slack. The role of Music Coordinator is a paid position.
