Grand Marais Art Colony Artist in Residency Programs

Based on the shores of Lake Superior in the beautiful wilderness community of Grand Marais, MN, the Grand Marais Art Colony offers Artist in Residency programs focused on growth, experimentation, and rejuvenation. 

The Grand Marais Art Colony has two rolling application periods for self-guided and group residencies. November 15th - January 15th for our January - June session and January 16th - November 14th for our July - December session. Self-guided residencies are fee-based residencies. Artists can work with outside grant sources to fund their time at the Art Colony. The Art Colony also has scholarships available through the Belvo/Jorgenson Scholarship Fund.
