Festival of Independent Artists

The first annual Festival of Independent Artists was created to spotlight the independent artists shaping Chicago’s creative landscape. This three-day curated event will feature artists in an immersive exhibition experience across the ballroom and ceremony rooms at Stan Mansion in Logan Square. The dates are May 8-10. 

Our goal is to celebrate strong creative voices and introduce artists to new collectors in an elevated setting. We invite you to submit 1–6 works that reflect who you are, what moves you, and what defines your voice as an artist. This is not a traditional art fair. It is a curated, immersive weekend designed to introduce independent artists to new collectors in an elevated setting.

All applicants (selected or not) will:• Receive a 3-day Festival Pass ($30 value)

If selected for in-person exhibition:

• All submitted artworks must be available for sale.

• QR access to your full digital profile for seamless collector engagement

• Professional lighting and centralized sales handling

• VibrantCast will facilitate all artwork sales and retain a 35% service commission

• Because VibrantCast manages all artwork sales, you are not required to be present for the full three days (though you are warmly encouraged to attend).• You may be invited to participate in additional programming during the Festival. Selected artists will be thoughtfully curated within the Festival exhibition spaces.
