Farwell House AIR Summer 2025

The Farwell House AIR is a multidisciplinary artist residency whose mission is to nurture the creative process by providing an opportunity for artists (21 yrs+) of various disciplines to work without interruption in a supportive, rural environment. For the 2025 sessions, artists will be selected through an open application process to live and work at Farwell House (Frederick, IL) for a two-week period. During this time artists will be working on various tasks related to their artistic field. Also during this time, artists will be required to engage with the local community in some way. This requirement may be accomplished through an exhibit, studio visit, demonstration, reading, lecture, or performance. Although our goal is to provide for the artist, we deeply desire to engage and provide for our communities through this type of interaction.
