DEADLINE EXTENDED: Nobody's Free Until Everybody's Free

Submission Deadline: 10 AM on Monday, June 3rd, 2024

Exhibition Dates: June 14th - August 9th, 2024

About the Exhibition: In celebration of Juneteenth, we invite artists to participate in an exhibition dedicated to the unification of all BIPOC movements for freedom around the world. We will not rest for one instant until everyone, everywhere is free from bondage. As the great civil rights leader Fannie Lou Hamer once noted, “Nobody's free until everybody's free” or as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. put it: “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.“ It is with this sentiment that we approach our next exhibition. We seek to amplify voices, share stories, and showcase the solidarity among diverse movements advocating for justice, equality, and love.

Theme & Purpose:

This exhibition aims to create a space that fosters acceptance and unity among all people. We welcome artworks that highlight and support various movements for freedom, including but not limited to:

  • Free Palestine
  • Free Sudan
  • Free Congo
  • LGBTQ+ equality
  • Indigenous rights
  • Black Lives Matter
  • Anti-racism movements worldwide

Through this collective narrative, we hope to emphasize that true freedom is universal and interconnected.
