Darkness: A Call for Dark Art, Bounty, and Decay

NEW Gallery is seeking art inspired by the darkness around us for the upcoming Dark Art, Bounty, and Decay exhibition. From harvest to Halloween, any work depicting Autumn and the change of seasons, or darkness as a metaphor.

Submission Details

• Submissions deadline: Sunday, September 28, 2025
• $26 per submission for in-person gallery and $13 per online gallery submission
• All information must be included in our submission form, including high-resolution images of your work and a brief artist statement (max 300 words)
• All submitted images must be labelled following this format: LastNameFirstNameTitleOfWork (ex: DoeJane_Title)
• Show Opening October 19 and Closing Reception November 14 at Art City (1400 N Halsted Ave.)
