Call for video and outdoor submissions - Ignition project space

Ignition Project Space is an artist owned and run gallery on the west side of Humboldt Park, Chicago, IL, USA. We support Illinois artists by providing a space and modest stipend for solo shows a variety of spaces in the building. Ignition encourages non-commercial project-based exhibitions, events and general risk-taking. All media, artistic backgrounds and experience levels are welcome - we seek a variety of artistic perspectives.

Ignition is currently seeking proposals from Illinois artists working in video projection and outdoor sculpture/installation for our video gallery and outdoor courtyard space. Each artist receives a modest stipend of $200 to present a one month solo show with opportunities to be curated into other group shows around Chicago. All artistic backgrounds are welcome, artists are encouraged to respond to the space, take risks and try new things. Application deadline: March 1. Please email 5-10 images of your work, a resume or bio and a plan for the space to info@ignitionprojects.org.
