Beverly Arts Center's Inaugural GATHERINGS d'ART

An art extravaganza to benefit the Beverly Arts Center and Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists

Guests interact with a variety of artists who will convert blank canvases into works of art that they can bid on. The evening concludes with a live auction of the donated artwork. Participants will receive free entry into the BAC's annual Art Comp and the chance to meet prospective clients.

EVENT DATE – Saturday, June 15

Talented artists will be selected to paint at Gatherings d’Art. Artists have the option to do an acrylic painting on a provided blank canvas or use a medium other than acrylics (must meet the drying requirements) on self-supplied material. Please indicate on the application form which option you will be using.

Artists begin painting at 11AM on Saturday, June 15. Artists will work on their piece and socialize with the other participants from 11AM – 6PM. At 6PM the doors to the event will open to the public. Guests enjoy watching the artist’s progress, so you are encouraged to set a pace that allows you to be working when the guests are present. We also ask that each piece be finished, completely dry and ready to package by 8PM.

Deadline for artist applications EXTENDED through April 10th!

NOTE: Jurors will be selecting artists – therefore, samples of your work will be required in order for your application to be considered.
