In Chicago winters, and the world we live in, it's easy to find yourself isolated, far away. The Living Room Zine is inviting LGBTQ+ writers and artists to explore the theme “Avoidance” through our open call for submissions. Submit your visual art, prose (maximum 6 pages), and poetry (maximum of 5 poems) for the 2nd issue of The Living Room Zine. Please send submissions to thelivingroomexhibitions@gmail.com as easily accessible files (Word docs and PDFs preferred) before midnight on March 31, 2025.
The Living Room Exhibitions is a queer-led curatorial collective and zine based in Chicago, IL. We aim to foster queer community, and strongly encourage any and all queer artists/writers to submit their work.
