$10k Dreamers in Residency
Soho House Chicago is excited to introduce "Dreamers in Residency” Powered by Porsche, an inaugural grant program aimed at empowering emerging to mid-career artists in the Chicago area. With the theme "Keep Your Essence" in mind, this initiative seeks to support the sustainability of practicing visual artists. Inspired by the fully electric Macan SUV, Dreamers in Residency was conceived to spark transformative opportunities for promising artists on a path to success.
AWARDS
10 Finalists will be selected to share their work with the Soho House community and a panel of jury members on Thurs July 18th @7pm. These presentations will determine the outcome for the top 3 winners. The 3 winners will each receive a 12-month Every House membership comp ($5,200 value) along with unrestricted funds and the following opportunities.

-Chance to collaborate with Porsche on a custom Macan car wrap featured during a future event
-Opportunity to display work in in Soho House Chicago
-Opportunity to collaborate with Pretty Cool Ice Cream on a product label
-Opportunity for Cornerstone Feature Mural

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Practicing visual artists of all backgrounds and identities are encouraged to apply but must meet the following criteria when submitting.
- You are a United States Citizen with a primary Chicagoland Residency
- You are 21 years old or older
- You must not be enrolled in a degree seeking school/program when contest period ends (6/10).
- You maintain an active studio practice
- You are not formally represented by a gallery or agent
- If selected as a finalist, you are able and willing to present your work digitally in person at Soho House Chicago on Thur July 18th, and attend the winner’s announcement celebration on Mon July 2nd

TIMELINE
- Mon May 6th -Application Launch (“Contest Period Start”)
- Tue May 14th (6-7:30pm) - Drop in application Info session (RSVP required)
- Mon June 10th - Contest Period Ends at noon
- Tue June 12- July 2nd Jury Review (round1)
- Thur July 18th (7-9pm) - Group Crit 10 Finalist Present @Soho House Chicago
- Mon July 22nd (7-8pm) - Award Celebration Presentation (top3) @Soho House Chicago
