Chicago Artists Coalition is pleased to announce its partnership with EXPO CHICAGO and Newcity. Coinciding with EXPO CHGO ONLINE, CAC will host a centerpiece exhibition of this year's Newcity's Breakout Artists. CAC is thrilled to see seven of the nine Breakout Artists are current and former CAC residents. The exhibition will have an opening day on Friday, April 9, by appointment only, from 3-8pm. Established in 2004, Newcity's annual Breakout Artists issue has become a leading indicator of future success in contemporary art. Of the 132 Breakout Artists before this year, forty-two now have gallery representation, ranging from Hauser & Wirth to numerous Chicago galleries; most of the others, including those who've chosen less commercial paths, show regularly at museums and institutions around the world.

Exhibiting artists include: Alejandro Jiménez-Flores, Andrea Coleman, Hyun Jung Jun, Li-Ming Hu, Max Guy, Nat Pyper, Nereida Patricia, SaraNoa Mark, and Unyimeabasi Udoh.
