Chicago Artists Coalition (CAC) is proud to present Leonard Suryajaya, BOLT Resident 2015/16, selected by Yesomi Umolu, Exhibitions Curator at the​ Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts​, and his new exhibition, Bunda,​​ ​at EXPO CHICAGO/2016​.​

For his booth presentation, Suryajaya has conceived an immersive installation of patterns, photographs, videos, and objects that evoke order amid chaos. ​​These complex expressions are part of the artist's ongoing questions about social unrest and its underlying tensions, as well as his meditations on motherhood, identity, desire​,​ and allegiance in our increasingly globalized world.​ ​​​CAC is a part of EXPO CHICAGO's Special Exhibitions program that offers unique, high-quality presentations and site-specific work in Navy Pier’s Festival Hall.
