Live/work at Parlour and Ramp

Parlour and Ramp gallery is looking for a housemate!!!

Large master bedroom Bedroom art studio space and use of gallery!!!

We are looking for another member for our large live/work art collective. We rent two buildings that have joined together, the building with the available bedroom used to be a bookstore, and the building with the gallery used to be a funeral home back in the day, hence the the name parlour and Ramp.

The space has two floors with a back deck and huge backyard for parking, gardening, campfires, etc. First floor has large foyer, multiple entrances, living/dining room, full bathroom with claw-foot tub, kitchen (with dishwasher), the currently available bedroom and an enclosed back porch for pantry/storage. Second floor has three bedrooms, full bathroom with shower, living room, crafting/ storage space on back porch. Unfinished basement beneath for creating, storage and our washer/dryer.

Connected is our large gallery space (has a half bath) for events, classes, workshops, art shows, fundraisers, etc. Beneath the gallery is another unfinished basement (studio workshop space with a bar and a slop sink) with another half bath.

Building has central air, large closets and high ceilings. All rooms have windows. Current members are Russell, an artist and art handler, Alex, an artist, and Steve, an actor/comedian. We enjoy sharing the occasional meal, the healing arts, and building community. Additional gallery committee members help out with the space but do not live on premises.

We are looking for another artist or even better an artist couple to move in! If you’re interested in contributing you time to this awesome gallery
